Scientific Knowledge and Religious Belief in Dialogue
Dialogue and collaboration between faith and science are never taken for granted: the two worlds have often been thought of as alternatives, if not mortal enemies. Timossi retraces the history of this relationship and reflects on the present time: in the era of fake news also by the way of scientific evidence, the positions of the Church and believers have to support the contribution of research to the well-being of humanity. We have probably finally taken the right course e we can speak constructively of science and ethics, of freedom and responsibility for research, even for a Church lined up in defense of science. Science and faith can now be together at the service of humanity and represent the beginning of an era of common defense of human integrity.
