What does each Christian confession mean when it speaks of
dogma, grace, or freedom? First volume of an interfaith theology series, this glossary is meant to be a tool to understand
the perspective of the other on the words of the Faith and
Baptism that unite. It is aimed not only at students, but to all
who intend acquire correct information on the sense of the
terms that the different confessions Christian use in their ecclesial and theological “jargon”.
The words range from Liturgical Year to Bishop. Each word
is described from a Roman Catholic perspective (Giuseppe
Lorizio), from the Evangelical-Protestant one (Fulvio Ferrario)
and from that Eastern Orthodox (Germano Marani). This structure allows readers to grasp the convergences and the differences around the major issues of the Christian faith.
Msgr. Giuseppe Lorizio (Poggio Imperiale – FG, 1952) presbyter of the diocese of Rome. He is a professor of fundamental
theology at the Lateran University. With Edizioni San Paolo he

Fulvio Ferrario (Milan, 1958) has graduated in philosophy
(1980) and theology (1987). He was ordained to the pastoral ministry in 1989. From 1989 to 2002 he has been a pastor in Alessandria, Bassignana (AL) and Milan. Since 2002 he
has been teaching Dogmatics and related disciplines at the
Waldensian Faculty of Theology in Rome and is invited professor at various Catholic theological faculties.
Fr. Germano Marani sj (Castel Goffredo – MN, 1961) is professor
of eastern dogmatic theology at the Pontifical Oriental Institute and the Faculty of Missiology at the Gregoriana University
