In the face of daily fatigue, which prevents us from feeling out
of the sense of guilt that often grips us, in our human relationships and in our relationship with God too, Scripture offers us
a way to open ourselves to a new perspective: we are at the
centre of history only when we are confronted with the love
of God, revealed in Christ. The author of these pages accompanies the readers with the help of the Bible to overcome that
sense of guilt. Twelve stations marked by twelve verbs, from
Loving to Leaving, delineate Jesus’ life and path. Contemplating the mysteries of Christ’s life (from the Incarnation up to the
Ascension) we finally discover what human being is: greatness, beauty, and truth. The book points the finger to Jesus,
the greatest love gift by God. It Was God who created all this
beauty.
The second of three volumes that focus on the freedom of
human being in his relationship with God – but also readable
independently from the previous one, It Was Not Us – this book
was born from preaching in front of lively listeners, young and
old. In this way it offers a fresh and original approach to the
Bible for our times.
