Fr. GIANFRANCO MATARAZZO (Teano, 1963) is a Jesuit father. After a law degree from the University of Naples he entered the novitiate of Genoa in 1993. He continued his studies in Padua (Philosophy) and Naples (Theology) and then in Rome (where he obtained a license in Moral Theology at the Gregoriana University). Priest since 2009, he has covered various positions: director of the Pedro Arrupe Political Formation Center in Palermo (2009-2014), provincial of the Italian Province (2014-2017) and of the Euro-Mediterranean Province (2017-2020), he now resides in Naples, where he works as an educator and spiritual director. Well-known essayist, his main topics are prayer, the first proclamation of the faith, and the new evangelization. With Edizioni San Paolo he has published La bussola di Abramo (2021) and Abramo nella tempesta (2022).
