Novel
England, summer 1941. Tom and Mina move with their mother into the Lighthouse Mansion, inherited by their great-aunt
Lexandra. The children, in particular, get a mysterious settle
containing five books. The evil Mr. Greymore, posing as a friend
of their great-aunt, manages to buy three of the volumes. Tom
and Mina discover they have two magic, wild books in their
hands, inspired by two classics of children literature (The Call
of the Wild, One Thousand and One Nights).
Meanwhile, even Greymore realizes owning three wild books,
inspired by Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, Dracula
and The Hobbit. However, greed induces Greymore to take
possession of the other two books too. After betrayals and
kidnappings, escapes and fights, the children will be able to
save themselves from Greymore’s assault and to free all the
wild books.
